He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Popovich and Katarina Popovich; and his brother-in-law Joseph Szaz. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Popovich; his daughter Lisa Popovich; his sister-in-law Bonnie Szaz; his nephew Andrew Szaz; and his niece Tracey Ferrie (Paul).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the J. J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence (19 Young St, Welland, ON L3B4C5). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Parish Community of St. Kevin (303 Niagara St, Welland, ON L3C1K5). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Prayers Holy Cross Cemetery (50 Woodlawn Rd, Welland, ON L3C3J5).
