Irène Marie Therrien Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irène Marie Therrien (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcel Holmes and Cézarée Holmes; her siblings, Louis, John, Émile, Bernard and Rita; and her brother-in-law Claude (Cécile Therrien).

She is survived by: her husband Gilles Therrien; her children, Michel (Corinne), Lucie (Michael), Hélène (late Steve), Lynne and Julie (Melvin); her grandchildren, Saffron, Léanne, Collin, Zacharie, Emily, Alexandrina, Véronique and Soleille; her great grandchildren, Ellissa and Elies; her brothers, Gérard, André, Augustin and Paul; and her in-laws, Diane Rouillier (Maurice), Lise Therrien, Sr., Isabelle Therrien and Jean-Guy Therrien (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the local food bank.
