George Tsaparis Obituary
The memory of George Tsaparis of Welland, Ontario, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 99, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Sophie; and his brothers, Sote and Nase. He is survived by: his wife Angela; and his brother Angelo. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and numerous friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Welland Funeral Home (827 E Main St, Welland, ON L3B3Y8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welland Funeral Home Chapel (827 E Main St, Welland, ON L3B3Y8). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (708 Niagara St, Welland, ON L3C).
