Fred Bassi Obituary

The memory of Fred Bassi (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Lauma; his children, Kristine (John Carmichael), Jason (Leasanne) and Danny (Cathy); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Samantha, Ava, Lucas and Emma; and his brother Paul (Joanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Welland or the Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Welland.
