With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Couture (Welland, Ontario), born in Québec, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adélard and Olivine; his former wife Francoise Couture; his daughters, Linda Brown and Laurence Bellemare; his grandsons, Marcel Perreault and Aurel Couture; and his great grandchild Bennett Bonato.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Couture; and his children, Roger (Michelle), Sue (late Ted), Ginette (Cleo), Nicole (Gilles), Denise, Colombe, Lise (Bill), Olay (Sandra), Bert (Joanne), Marcel (Joanne) and Tammy. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
