The memory of Douglas Hannell (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid adieu to Douglas' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Douglas has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Anne Hannell; and his sisters, Shirley Laquerre and Betty Kalailieff (Ed). He is survived by: his children, Richard Hannell and Tammy Hannell; his grandchildren, Dean Karr, Jayde Hannell and Sylvia Hannell; his siblings, Billy Hannell (late Betty) and Huey Dempsey (Denise); and his sibling-in-law Clem Laquerre. He is also survived by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #4 (383 Morningstar Ave, Welland, ON L3B5B5).
