She was predeceased by: her husband Ferdinando; her son George; her brothers, Vince, Domenic (Natalina) and Frank; her brothers-in-law, Vince, Pasquale, John, Salvatore Mammoliti, Domenico and Michele Ieraci (Francesca); her parents, Giorgio Rosa and Maria Rosa; and her in-laws, Michelangelo and Maria Annunziata.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Joanne), Nancy (late Frank), Pasquale (late Crystal), Rose, Liliana (late Brad), Aurelio "Ringo" (Nathalie) and Vince (Lucy); her grandchildren, Anthony (Sarah), Michael (Lindsey), Dave (Jordan), Remo, Gabriella, Vanessa (Cory), Patsy, Ashley, Justin and Aerik; her siblings, Michael (Amelia) and Liliana (Tony); and her sister-in-law Pina of Toronto.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence (19 Young St, Welland, ON L3B4C5). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St Mary Catholic Church (90 Griffith St, Welland, ON L3B4G4). An entombment was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens (2250 ON-20, Fonthill, ON L0S1E6).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Caterina can be made to St. Mary's Church, Rapelje Lodge or Community Care.
