He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ryan and Violet Ryan (Tonkin); and his sister Gayle Ballantyne. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ryan of Webbwood; his children, Christopher Ryan (Kathleen) and Anna-Liisa Aulbrook (Brian); his stepsons, Matthew Secord and Christian Secord; and his sisters, Debbie Bazuik (James), Kathy Hood (Dave) and Vicky LaPrairie (Reagan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
