He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wellington Lucas and Margaret Jane Lucas (Nee Watson); and his siblings, Ron, Joyce and Keith.

He is survived by: his wife Victoria Lucas (Nee Kingston); his children, Jacob Lucas (Scott Wilson), Jess Lucas, Maggie Mae and Emma Jane; his mother-in-law Laura Kingston; his siblings-in-law, George Kingston (Linda), Kenneth Kingston (Shirley) and Catherine Freer (Gary); and his friends, Jim Johnson and James Watson. He is also survived by many other friends and extended family.

The family would appreciate all in attendance to wear a mask.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Fund at the Department of CNS, Western University.
