She was predeceased by: her husband Ted; and her siblings, Jean Thompson (Foster) and Ross. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Leone Wellington and Bud Boomer (June); her children, Michael (Leslie), Cathy Boomer (Dave Wilkinson) and Nancy Shephard (Bob Cottingham); and her grandchildren, Mark Shephard, Kerry Kingdon, Alyssa, Ashton, Kaylin, Maci and Adam Shephard (Tricia).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Denning's of Forest (9 James St S, Forest, ON N0N 1J0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest United Church (21 James St N, Forest, ON N0N1J0). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Beechwood Cemetery (90 Beechwood Ave, Forest, ON N0N1J0).
