She was predeceased by: her husband John Thrower; and her siblings, Florence, Gordon, Percy and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Thrower, Gail Thrower, Bill Thrower (Dar) and Jan Bishop (Dave); her grandchildren, John, Brian (Jolynn), Julie (Shane) and Megan (Jordan); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Ethan, Zoey, Zachary, Jade, Clara and Patrick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
