He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Leisha (James Ellis) and Sean (Diana); his grandchildren, Makenna Awdi (Mody), Brody Elis and Ethan Vandeschoot; his parents, Johanna Vandeschoot (Anny) and John Vandeschoot; his siblings, Mary-Ann Williamson (Ken), Dave (Lorie) and Nancy Davies (Gerry); his parents-in-law, Harry and Emma Van-Kessel; his siblings-in-law, Harry Van, Kessel and Jennifer Duffy (Mike); his friends, Mike and Carrie Hollingsworth; and his pets, Jack and Baxter. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 5275 Nauvoo Rd, Watford, ON N0M2S0.
