He is survived by: his children, Laura Alderton-Scott (Norm Scott), Margie Greaves (Dennis Elliott), Lisa Kernohan (Jason McCutcheon), Dave Alderton Jr. (Dawn) and Michael Durston (Sara); and his grandchildren, Samantha (Matthew), Kevin (Angélique), Devin (Kaylynn), Savanna, Morgan, Madison, Victoria, Cora, Liam, Jorj, Hayden, McKenna, Michael Jr, Mariah, Jacob, Aubrey, Matthew Jr and Dominic.
