He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Read and Gretta Ross; his siblings, Joan and Duncan (Anne) of Oshawa; his nephew Hugh Read (Heather) of Toronto; his niece Heather Thompson (Peter) of Toronto; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Haley, Helen Read, Zoe and Violet Thompson.
