She was predeceased by: her former husband Eric; her parents, Howard Young and Evelyn Young (Galpin); and her siblings, Evelyn, Vivian and Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Poirier (Bernie) and Rick Ingraham (Helene); her grandchildren, Stephen Poirier (Yujin), Eric Poirier (Kayla), Lindsay Seale (Richard), David Ingraham (Laura) and Matthew Ingraham; her sister Georgie Young Madden; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Young of Nova Scotia. She is also survived by 11 greatgrandchildren, several extended family members and friends.
