She was predeceased by: her sister Susan Maharaj; and her niece Melissa. She is survived by: her sons, Steven "Skinner" (Susan) and Peter (Jennifer); and also Trinidad. She is also survived by her many in-laws, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
