He was predeceased by: his wife Yolanda; his son Michael Silvestro; his siblings, Frank Silvestro, Domenico Silvestro, Benito Silvestro, Nunzia Zito, Vittoria Avenozo and Concetta Fazari; and his parents, Michele Silvestro and Maria Stella Silvestro.

He is survived by: his children, Stella Breen (Bruce), Angela Cicchinelli (late Armando), Salvatore Jr. Silvestro (Connie), Vittoria Potter (Troy) and Benito Silvestro (Natasha); and his siblings, George Silvestro (Concetta) and Teresa Giovanazzo (Michele).
