He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Robert (Mary), Audrey Dietrich (Harold) and Phyllis Mohr (Alf); his siblings-in-law, Ruby Hackbart, Ivy Smith (Jim), Lil Quehl (Pat) and Charles Powell; and his sons-in-law, Art Martin and Howard Works.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Martin, Judy Hackbart and Cathy Dowdall (Gary); his grandchildren, Connie Cunningham (William), Patrick Dowdall (Amanda), Kelly Dowdall (Matt), Megan Works, Matt Works (Chris) and Taylor Works; his great grandchildren, Ashanti (Kevin), Jarule, Tishana Cunningham, Cooper, Jackson Dowdall, William Fatkin and Jayden Arsenault; his great great grandchild Kimara; his brother Lorne Hackbart; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Powell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
