He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross and Helen; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Aldean Kuehl. He is survived by: his grandson Nic; his wife Gwen; his children, Kelly (Steve Hickson) and Jim (Anne Chapman); his grandchildren, Amy (Jeremy Barreiras), Melissa (Corey Way), Sydney, Jaclyn (Nick Davies) and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Lexi and Brynlee; his siblings, Loretta Thomas, Janice (Gary Hall), Judy (Doug Hall), Debbie (Doug Carter) and Scott (Ingrid); his parents-in-law, Carl and Sue Kuehl; and his granddaughters, Kathy Loebsack Petrie, Jill Letson, Stephanie and Lindsay Laflamme.
Doug's family will welcome visitors to pay their respects and share in a Celebration of Life Reception at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 617 King Street N Waterloo (519-888-7700) in the Wellington Room on Saturday, August 21st 2021, from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m.
