He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle (Myrt); his parents, Milton Huras and Mabel Huras; his brother Frank; and his parents-in-law, Orvilla, Herb Fleischauer, Mary, Gordon Danbrook, Jim, Marj Struthers and Tony Pandur.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Huras (Julie), Kevin Huras (Laurie), Machelle Denison (Tony) and Monica Metzger (Tony); his grandchildren, Brett (Erin), Stephanie, Ryan Huras, Amanda (Matt), Jessica Huras (Violca), Addie (Derrick), Spencer Denison (Holly), Dylan and Alanna Metzger; his great grandchildren, Rose Randall and Eloise Huras; his sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Huras and Isabel Pandur; his brother Ron; and his sister-in-law Diana Huras. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
