He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, William Cornelius and Peter Warkentin; and his parents, Peter R. Unger and Maria Unger. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Colleen Dotzert (Mark), Douglas Unger (late Sylvia) and Andrew Unger (Sandra); his granddaughter Hannah Toman (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Malachi, Samuel, Gloryanna, Stephanie Hayward (Kyle), Ruth Anne Peletier (Corey), Peter Unger, Wesley Dotzert, Bret Unger, Conrad Dotzert and Gretta Dotzert; his siblings, Howard Unger (late Elizabeth), Raymond Unger (Isabel) and Orla Clendining (late Robert); his sister-in-law Lillian Cornelius Warkentin; and also, Eleanor, Ayla and Easson. He is also survived by his wife and family.
