He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Eric and Rosalyn Agatha DaCosta; his sister Dorothy Bornemann; his aunts, Lila, Hazel and Carmen Samuda; and his cousins, Pauline Soltau and Judith Heron.
He is survived by: his wife Lauris Bailey-DaCosta; his children, Nicole DaCosta-Deschenes, Marc and Audley DaCosta; his sister Sylvia Goucher; and his cousins, Carmen Lipman-White, Dora Thompson, Raphael Samuda, Nereida Samuda-Zimic and Mark Antomez.
