He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Elaine Reist; and his parents, Emmerson Reist and Eleanor Reist. He is survived by: his children, Lori Budgell (Roy), Doug Reist and Don Reist; his grandchildren, Mike Danforth (Erin), Paul Danforth, Jenn Budgell, Dan Budgell (Brettany) and Gregory Reist; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Danforth, Quinn Danforth and Maddox Jones.
