He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his sons, Philip (Robin), Andrew (Julie) and Allen; his grandchildren, Lauryn, Elliot, Maxwell and Nora; his sisters, Marie-Paul Pajala, Blanche Ross (Ernie) and Gaetanne Tyrer (Peter); his brother-in-law Marcel Bruneau; his father-in-law Donald Bender (Louisa); his siblings-in-law, John McDowell and Amy Bender; and his niece Emily Bender.
