He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Annemarie (Scott Hills), Erich (Sonia Shields) and Peter (Julia Wayand); his grandchildren, Andreas (Adrian Hart), Alexander, Nikolas, Isaac and Angelika; and his sister Maria Schaefer.
