She was predeceased by: her mother Eva; and her sisters, Jean, Rose, Theresa and Georgette.

She is survived by: her husband Edwin Flegel; her sons, Michael (Phyllis) and Brian (Judy); her grandchildren, Jeannette Boak (Peter), Susan Cooper (Tim), Kellen, Eric, Kevin, Kyle and Bryan; and her great grandchild Jeffrey Paul.
