She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Bill Shantz; her parents, Marjorie Mackenzie (Stumpf) and Steele Mackenzie; and her sisters, Mary Joan Stearn and Janet Ollerenshaw.
She is survived by: her sons, Alexander (Gail), Ian (Sheila) and Cameron (Mary); her grandchildren, Steele, Ciaran, Keltie and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Kora Lynn, Kinsley, Logan and Quin.
