She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bert Monk and Nora Monk (Elmwood) of Bentinck Township; her siblings, Courtney Monk, Audree Riepert and Helen Ahrens of Hanover; her former spouse Glenn Carroll of Mitchell; her stepdaughters, Trudy Carroll and Kathleen D'Elia of Belmont, California.; her sons-in-law, Don D'Elia of Belmont, CA, Jon Platt (Debbie) of Elmira and Greg Wynne; her grandchildren, Kyle Platt (Alex) of Waterloo, Zack Platt (Angie) of Kitchener, Erica, Brie, Julia, Michael Wynne of Belmont, CA, Will D'Elia of San Carlos, CA and Genevieve Clayton of Ayr; her husband Robert 'Bob Nelson; and also John Clayton of Ayr.
Her pre-covid-19 wishes were to have a grand funeral at her beloved First United Church, and a "levee-style" party at the Delta Waterloo.
