She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Stigter and Catherine Stigter; and her sister Cathy Maciaczyk. She is survived by: her children, Duane "Harvey" MacKinnon and Carolyn MacKinnon; and her siblings, Paul Stigter (Marilyn), John Stigter (Brenda), Fran Stigter and Winston Stigter (Ellen).
