She was predeceased by: her parents, Doreene Sprung and Lyall Sprung; and her siblings, Donald, Ralph, Peter Sprung and Liz Christner.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Shantz; her daughters, Stephanie (Mike Brenneman) and Cathy (Ben Barrett); the father of her children Gary Colmer (Pam); her stepchildren, Brett Shantz (Claudia) and Shelley (Jim Monroe); her grandchildren, Cole, Brianna Barrett, Travis Johnson (Meg), Jake Monroe and Lindsay Wallace (Rob); her great grandchildren, Raleigh, Hazel and Mackenzie; and her brother Michael Sprung. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
