He was predeceased by: his wife Naomi Sousa; and his sisters, Maria Moniz, Elvira Raposo and Olivia Macedo. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Olivia (Antonio Pereira); his grandchildren, Kevin (Christine), Jason (Teresa) and Leann Pereira (Sinan Alkabie); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Mea, Michael, Marco and Odin; his brother-in-law Luiz Macedo; and his nieces and nephews, S. A. and Azores.
