She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Colson and Margaret Colson; and her brothers, David and Mark. She is survived by: her sisters, Susan Anthony and Anne-Marie McCarthy (Paul); and her stepsons, James (Margaret), Neil (Sylvie) and Andrew (Eleanor).

Lynne lived to help others, tirelessly volunteering at hospices and retirement homes wherever she lived until Covid removed that possibility.
