He was predeceased by: his son Mark; his wife Mary (Martha Boyko); and his parents, Margaret Schell (Mueller) and Alfred Schell. He is survived by: his son Ric; his close friend Florence Tunney; his brother-in-law Nick Boyko (Pat); his daughter-in-law Jan (Larry); his grandchildren, Erin Harrison (Jack), Dori Gray (Cory), Ashley Cudney (Brian), Jason MacLeod, Katrina Miller (Keith), Paul Schell Holmes (Jackie) and Kenny Schell Holmes (Deryn Ashley); his great grandchildren, Jake, Andrew, Brandon, Catherine, Taylor, Eden, Kenzinton, Quentin, Tayler, Mackayla, Liam, Ben and Coltyn; his extended family, Anne, Gary, Nichol, Michelle, Nicki, Shae, Jack Martin, Dean Fitzgerald, Carmella Smith, Amellia, Isabella, Delillah, Judy and Rob McKay; his children, Amellia and Richard Edward; and his daughters-in-law, Linda (Ric) and Elisa (Mark). He is also survived by her family, grand children and great grand children.

Covid will be a tragic time in everyone's life that prevented many families from being separated from their loved ones.
