He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Kipfer; his parents, Cyranius Kipfer and Lena Kipfer; and his siblings, Harold Kipfer (Elizabeth), Wilber Kipfer (Gabrielle), Robert Kipfer, Walter Kipfer (Beatrice), Edward Kipfer (Jewell) and James Kipfer (Janet).

He is survived by: his sons, Randy (Cathy), Tim and Jason (Jacqui); his grandchildren, Joe, Jeff, Alannah and Max; his great grandchildren, Kayden and Kayla; and his siblings, Esther Haunn (late Ernest), Marie Gingerich (Stanley) and Ray Kipfer (Mary).
