He is survived by: his children, Fran Smale, Terry Hallman (Lyne) and Sue Heffernan (Jim); his son-in-law Paul Harris; his grandchildren, Kelly Cameron (Ian), Jason Lyons (Jenna), Melanie McIntyre (Cameron), Katherine Ellis (Aaron), Eric Heffernan (Kassandra), Katarina Smale, Sarah Harris (Brandon) and Annabelle Hallman; his great grandchildren, Lyndsey Cameron, Peyton, Adasyn Lyons, Dallas and Paisley Ellis; and his sisters, Dolores Mackay and Shirley Hoffman.
