She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schelhas and Helen Schelhas; her sister Laurraine; and her brother-in-law Doug Ottmann. She is survived by: her spouse Ladislaus Bauer (Lance); her children, Angela (late Joe Straus), Stephan, Stephanie Bauer and Theresa Bauer; her grandchildren, Jeff Straus (Kim), Rachael Armitage (Craig), Joel Straus (Alanna), Greg Straus (Alison), Caecilia Arndt (Grant), Michael Straus (Alyssa), Benjamin (Katelyn Jo), Anthony, Emily, Johnathan, Daniel Bauer, Danielle and Brandon Schaefer; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Caitlin, Connor, Kyra, Kayla, Kati, Kayden, Naomi, Thea, Joseph, Jemma, Eleanor, Gabriel, William, Jack, Nicholas, Ryker, Lucy and Rose; her brothers, Josef, Arnold (Ursula) and Anton; and her nieces and nephews, Germany and Austria.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Laurretta's life and faith will be private.
