She was predeceased by: her husband Milo Shantz; her parents, Annanias Martin and Susanna Martin (Steckle); her siblings, Florence Wideman (Aaron), Almeda Martin, Lloyd Martin (Gladys), Abner Martin, Nelson Martin and Vernon Martin; her brothers-in-law, George Wallace and Carson Moyer; and her grandson Adam Shantz.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Shantz (Willem Moolenbeek), Christine Shantz, Sandra Shantz (Tania Benninger), Margaret Shantz (Greg Bezzo) and Marcus Shantz (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jacob, Kira, Laura Moolenbeek, Timothy, Nathan and Marty Shantz; her sisters, Viola Wallace and Ellen Moyer; and her sister-in-law Shirley Martin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Menno Singers, Da Capo Chamber Choir, the Grand Philharmonic Choir, Pax Christi Chorale, or another community choir of your choice.
