He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Aveling and Thomas Aveling. He is survived by: his wife Stephana; his daughters, Lee Partridge and Dale Aveling (Paul Osolnik); his grandchildren, Jessica Frost (Chris), Adam Partridge, Trevor Young, Lindsay Young (Blake), Brianne Osolnik and Justin Osolnik; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas and Beatrice; and his sister-in-law Margaret Sanderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
