He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Avery; his brothers, Howard, Dennis (Denny) and Lorne (Brownie); and his parents, Alfred Meyer and Mary Meyer.
He is survived by: his spouse Margaret Meyer; and his children, Karen Meyer of Toronto, Jennifer Kedmenecz (Michael) of Waterloo and Sarah Bota (Matthew) of London. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
