He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, Leslie Vanderleeuw (Erik Spande), James Vanderleeuw (Mauricia Matewish), Christie Eby (Joel) and Sherri Vanderleeuw (Mike Hagan); his grandchildren, Maddison Eby and Logan Eby; and his siblings, John Vanderleeuw (Mary), Tena Kielstra, Margaret Nywening (Wiebe) and Florence Schaafsma (Stuart). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
