He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Flora; and his siblings, Roy, Dorothy, Donald and Weyburn.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hagedorn (Stephen) of Waterloo, Thomas Huras (Lorraine) of Toronto and Jonathan (Laura) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, David (Shannon), Michael, Sarah (Jonathan), Peter, Alexander, Abigail, Daniel and Gregory; and his great grandchildren, Zachary and Penelope. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
