She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Joan Forester (John), Gerald Herbst (Cheryl) and Pat Murphy (Peter); her grandsons, Hal Thornton and Jeffrey Thornton; her great grandchildren, Gregory and Benjamin; her great great grandchildren, Shaun, Wesley and Kevin; her husband Allen Herbst; her grandson Jonathan Thornton; her siblings, Kathleen Koebel (Carl), Audrey Brown (Gerry) and Arthur Schmidt (Nora); her siblings-in-law, Carl Herbst (Ruth), Sadie Brusso (Noah), Marie Foerster (Milton) and Frederick Herbst (Pearl); her parents, Norman Schmidt and Bertha Schmidt; and her parents-in-law, Edward and Katherina Herbst. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
