She was predeceased by: her husband Otto; her parents, Wilhelm Freitag and Bertha Freitag; and her siblings, Ilse, Erna, Irmi and Willi.
She is survived by: her children, Linda, Tom Szozda, Christa and Steve Wiersma; her grandchildren, Tyler, Alisha, Katrina Szozda, Nathan and Natalie Wiersma; and her cousin Germany. She is also survived by many relatives, nieces, nephews.
