She was predeceased by: her parents, Katharine Hanek and Michael Hanek. She is survived by: her children, Kirk Laurin (Tara Lane) and Nicole Laurin (Stephen Ward); her siblings, Elizabeth Peters (Andrew), Richard Hanek (Suzanne) and Eric Hanek; and her grandson Alex Lane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
