He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Cullen and Margaret Mae Goodwillie; and his siblings, Anne Bird and Earl Cullen. He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Margaret Allen, Valerie Ferguson (Don) and Dennis Cullen; and his stepchildren, David Kerbl (Lisa), Lani Kerbl, Kathryn Johnson (Dave), Diane Dunseith and Terri Rogers (Craig). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
