He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Oestreich and Marianne Oestreich; his brother Wayne (June); his parents-in-law, Russel and Irene; and his brothers-in-law, Wib Bender and George Siket.

He is survived by: his children, Valerie, Bernie Willms, Vance Oestreich and Julie Schippanoski; his sisters, Beverly Siket and Patricia Nusink; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Bender and Donna Schnarr (Paul). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
