He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederika Christina (Rika) and Johannes Antonius Roos (Antoon); his brother Willem Roos; and his brother-in-law Gerald Gallant. He is survived by: his wife Donna Gallant Roos; his children, Katherine (Craig), Patricia (Jim), Harriet, Rick (Denise) and Chris; his sister Antonia Buimer (Roel); his siblings-in-law, Irene Roos-Blok, James Gallant and Richard Gallant of St. Stephen; and his grandchildren, Madeleine, Aurora, Charlie, Abi, Jake, Blaise, Anna, Jasper, Naomi and Julia.
