He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Joseph McKinnon and Annie-Mae MacNeil; his daughters, Ann Marie and Ann Darlene; his stepfather Alban MacNeil; and his siblings, Steve, Michael, Betty and Theresa.
He is survived by: his significant other Janice Fisher; his children, Joey, George, Mary Theresa Brandon (Rick) and Sharon Mackinnon (Bernie); his grandchildren, Cory Tyler (Michelle), Nicholas, Joelle Mackinnon (Matt), Jeffrey, Caitlin Brandon, Alishia (Ali), Kelsey Mackinnon (Richard), Shauna Sheppard, Jennifer Sheppard and Logan Mackinnon; his great grandchildren, Gage, Laney, Zachary, John Robert, Carson and Kaya; and his siblings, Margaret, John, Alban MacNeil (Junior), Chuck Mackinnon and Marie Sollazzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Association.
