He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Kliewer (Warkentin). He is survived by: his children, Mary Mohun (Doug), Hildy Pinkney (John) and Karl Kliewer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer), Joe (Stephanie), Kristy and Rhys (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Allison, Jackson, Nolan and Evelynn.
