He was predeceased by: his spouse Henrietta Sarah "Reta" Bain; his parents, Robert Edwin of Ireland and Rachel Bain of Ireland; and his siblings, Erwin Bain (Dorothy), Charlie Bain (Evelyn), Ella Cairnduff (Ernie) and Evelyn Harte.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Bain (Zulfikar Nathani) of Toronto, Trevor Bain, Grampa, Nathan and David Bain.
